Repair Access & Entry Notice

Routine maintenance

At least 24 hours’ written notice is required, with entry between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., unless the tenant agrees to another arrangement.

Urgent, but not an emergency

The same notice rule applies unless the tenant agrees to earlier access. Front Step PEI will contact the tenant promptly to coordinate.

Emergency or immediate serious damage

For an emergency, fire, water damage, or immediate serious danger or damage, access may occur without advance notice.

PEI Rental Office entry rules

This preference helps with scheduling. It does not limit lawful emergency entry or any statutory right of entry.
